Not sure what to say?

My prayers will be with the family during your loss.

Sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. He was a good friend with a kind heart. He was a regular participant at our nursing home ministry
at Mullins, Sunny Acres, and Lakeview Assisted Living Facility. We always were blessed having him sing at our church. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Kenneth's Obituary

Mr. Kenneth James Czmiel, 70, husband of Ruth Lewis Czmiel, of Mullins, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on the afternoon of January 1, 2024, at his residence after a period of declining health.

Kenny was born on July 30, 1953, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Czmiel. Kenny was a graduate of Mullins High School, where he met his sweetheart and future wife. Kenny was the size and stature of a grizzly bear but was as gentle as a lamb. Kenny’s joy in life came from serving his Lord and helping his fellow man. If there was anyway Kenny could help, he would. Kenny was known for his nursing home ministries, helping to spread the word of his Lord, and giving comfort to those who needed it. Kenny’s biggest passion was singing. He loved to sing about his Jesus, Lord, and Savior.

Surviving Kenny in addition to his wife of 50 years, and of the home, Ruth Lewis Czmiel; his beloved daughter, Jennifer Czmiel Barlow, and her husband, Gregg, of Florence; his two special nieces: Gina Lee, and her husband Eddie, of Dillon, and Megan Jackson, and her husband, Matt, of Latta; his nephew, Billy Lee of Grove City, Ohio; and his five precious grandchildren: Kimber Jackson, Savannah Jackson, Abigayle Jackson, Cohn Lee and Norah Lee.

Mr. Czmiel was predeceased by in death by his nephew, Brian Shelley.

No service is scheduled during this time, the family will announce arrangements at a later date through Cox-Collins Funeral Home.

A guestbook for Mr. Czmiel is available on our website at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.com and our Facebook page.
