Kenneth Ray "Ken" Harris

Kenneth Ray "Ken" "Peewee" Harris, was born in Malden on Wednesday, February 11, 1942, to the late Jess Willis Harris and Alberta Matilda Williams Harris.  He departed this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the age of 81 years and 26 days.  Ken was retired from Federal Mogul and was a farmer.  After his retirement he made medical deliveries.  He was a member of Second General Baptist Church in Malden and was attending Semo Community Church in Malden.  

On June 9, 1962, in Campbell, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Helen Peterson.  She survives of the home in Malden.  

Other survivors include:  Three sons, Kenneth Ray Harris, Jr. of Dexter; Bryan Harris and wife Sabrina of Malden; Michael Harris and wife Rewa of Dexter.  Daughter, Melanie Jo Durham and husband Jason of Campbell; Grandchildren, Michael Harris and wife Jessica; Justin DeVers and wife Danielle; Darrin Conn-Harris and wife Brandi; Nathan Harris; Logan Harris; Madyson Harris; Aubree Lemarr and husband Kyle; Lydia Harris; Levi Harris; Cierra Harris; Ethan Harris; Easton Durham.  Great grandchildren, Ellisyn Lemarr; Dylan Spencer; Tanner Spencer; Kenzley Harris; Brenden DeVers; Lynzie DeVers; Shayden Conn; Danyl Conn; Taylinn Conn; Gabriella Garner and Allison Garner.  Brother, Carl Harris and Sister, Vernitta Cowell.  

He was preceded in death by:  Granddaughter, Abbey Harris; Sisters, Violet Kimbrough and Lavern Stewart; Brothers, Thomas Harris, Glen Harris, and Ronald Harris.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  Funeral service will be Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.  Interment will be in Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
