Dear Marion and family,
Ed and I were sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. We regret missing the announcement for his services in Lake Placid. I often think if Ken as I work around the buildings at Rock and River. I still follow the Safety Manuel he created for us along with the monthly checklist he made. His distinct handwriting is still on various notes posted near power boxes and alarm systems. Each month as I go through the fire alarm safety check, he comes along with me reminding me not to skip any steps.
We were so fortunate to have had Ken as part of the Rock and River team. His contribution is still felt to this day. We send each of you our condolences.
Sincerely,
Teresa and Ed Palen

Mom and I knew Ken and Marion from the Northwoods chapter ADK. They were visitors at our home. I had lost touch with them after they moved to Queensbury. Sending love and hugs to Marion. May God bless you at this time.

Knowing Ken & Marion for many years while they lived in Wappingers Falls, NY was wonderful. We missed them when they moved North but that was what they desired & loved it in Lake Placid. My sympathy to Marion & family.
