Not sure what to say?

I enjoyed working with Ken at the City of OKC in his role as Project Manager. He worked so hard at helping us construct the new Earlywine Golf Course Clubhouse, a project that was very special to him and tied him back to his love of golf. He always had great jokes and stories to tell. Lots of prayers for the family and his loved ones, he will be missed and I know he is so proud of his family and is watching with smiles from Heaven.

Uncle Ken, I will always remember your contagiously fun personality. You were ornery and loving at the same time. I remember you watching Nascar and always saying "rubbing is racing." It always brings a smile to my face when I think of you. You were the best husband, father, and PeePaw to your family. You left a great impression everywhere you went. I want you to know that we will all be here for your family to help take care of them and see them through this hard time. Thank you for...

Offering our deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

Kenneth's Obituary

Kenneth Ray Stier, 75, of Guthrie, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family. Also known as Ken or Kenny, he was born in Oklahoma City on June 8, 1950.

Ken attended public schools in Oklahoma City going to Calvin Coolidge Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, U.S. Grant High School and a brief stint at OSU Technical Institute studying computer science. He was a proud member of the 745th Military Police Company and was discharged in 1977 as a Staff Sargent.

Ken’s early employment began as a dishwasher at Adrians Café and different stints at Rudy’s Redbud and Safeway grocery stores. His most enjoyable time, however, was delivering the Daily Oklahoman and Oklahoma City Times with his brother Dale. They had quite a time in the early mornings with many adventures that Dale will be happy to tell you about at a later time.

While at U.S. Grant, Ken met the love of his life and future life partner Carol Jean Beaty in 10th grade English class. To this day it is still in contention whether or not Carol would let him “look” at her answers to certain test questions. Ken contends that she would not let him “just” check her answers for her but that is a decision that needs to be discussed between her and others. Although they never dated in High School, Ken and Carol re-connected at the graduation after party on graduation night. A thanks must be given to Ken and Carols BFF through high School Connie Cardoni (Carrier) who intervened and saved Ken from a confrontation with the Police on this night. More on this should be discussed with Carol or Connie at a later date.

This led to their marriage on February 7, 1969. Their union has lasted 56 wonderful years together. Ken and Carol were truly blessed with daughters Ericka Leigh, born April 28, 1971, and Nicole Jean, born June 11,1974. The girls brought into his life two amazing sons-in-law, Kris Sheridan and Zack Paniel, who never hesitate to help in any way.  Ken and Carol were blessed with three amazing grandchildren, Makenna Jean, Jacob Ray and Abigail Jean. Makenna wed Chris Hartman in October 2022, and the couple welcomed Ken and Carol’s first great grandson, Ezekiel Judah-Ray Hartman, on November 24, 2025, who Ken fully expected to become the President of the United States or go on to create a breakthrough of some sort to help all mankind.

Ken’s adult employment included a list of different careers as an Architectural Draftsman with the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority, Vice President of Enterprise Millwork, Assistant Golf Professional at Oak Tree Country Club (where he was a two-time winner of the Tropicana Trophy Golf Tournament held in Las Vegas, Nevada). In 1990 he became the Head Golf Professional at Temeku Country Club (Temecula California). Other Head Professional positions followed such as Sun City Palm Springs (California), Hillcrest Golf County Club (Phoenix), Legacy Hills Golf Club, Georgetown (Texas), Shawnee Country Club (Oklahoma) and Lakeside Golf Club (Stillwater, Oklahoma). He was also co-owner of Stier Homes with his life better half, Carol. Together they constructed and sold over 120 homes from 2000 to 2010. In 2010 Ken began employment with the City of Oklahoma City Public Works department as a Construction Project Manager where he constructed over 40 million dollars’ worth of projects.

Ken was preceded in death by his mother and father Russell and Geraldine Stier, mother and father-in-law Dolores and Willard Beaty, sister-in-law Susan Myers, sister-in-law Carrie Beaty, and his nephew Brent Bristol. He is survived by his amazing wife Carol, his beloved daughters Ericka Sheridan and husband Kris, Nicole Paniel and husband Zack, grandchildren Makenna Hartman and husband Chris, Jacob Paniel and Abigail Sheridan, and great grandson Ezekiel Judah-Ray Hartman. He is also survived by his brother Dale Stier and wife Susie, brother-in-law Gary Beaty and wife Betty, sister-in-law Terri Bates and husband Kerry, sister-in-law Delia Bristol and husband Wayne, brother-in-law Mark Beaty, brother-in-law Jeff Beaty and wife Amy, and many, many nephews and nieces whom he dearly loves.

Ken would like to leave one message to all. Stay committed to your God, Your Family and above all…..enjoy every sun rise, sunset and every day given to you.

A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.  Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
