Kent was such a great man, his kindness and friendship willl be something I always remember and hold dear to my heart. It was a blessing to spend time studying the word of God and fellowshiping with him, Tonya and Lukas.

Kent Lawrence Evans, 62, of Karlsruhe, ND went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Karlsruhe. Military Honors will be provided by the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Team. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Kent's family: 309 Moscow Street Karlsruhe, ND 58744.

Kent was born January 22, 1963 to Kenneth Honore Walter and Ruth Carol (Plaster) Evans, in Toms River, NJ. He grew up in Texas, but his heart was always in Montana. Kent had done many adventurous things in his life, and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to trap, hunt and fish.
Kent served in the United States Army – 5th Mash FORSCOM from 1987-1992, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia. In 2010, Kent surrendered his life to Christ and lived out the last 15 years preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Kent is survived by his wife, Tonya (McIver) Evans; daughter, Natasha Silva (Evans); sons, Kyle Evans and Lukas Evans; father, Kenneth Evans; mother, Ruth (Plaster) Simmang; sister, Rose (Evans) Deragon; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Larry Plaster.
