Kevin Derrick Brusch

Kevin Derrick Brusch, 65, of Mio, MI, passed away Sunday, July 6th, at home surrounded by family. He was born in Warren, MI on January 20, 1960, to the late Ella  Mae Lard and Walter H. Brusch. Kevin worked CMH in Port Huron, MI before moving to Mio, MI in 1990. He worked for Oscoda County dial-a-ride until 1995. Kevin then became a DJ, running karaoke at the Redwood Steakhouse in Lewiston, MI for 15 years. He loved music, shooting targets and old coins, but above all, he loved his friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Toni (Neff) Brusch; children, Amy (Kevin) Brusch, Jaymi (Troy) Frizzle, Adam (Amanda) Brusch, Chad (Amber) Bugg, and Angela Brusch; sister, Pam Ormsby; brothers, Duane (Kathie) Brusch, Bruce Brusch, and Joe (Jo-Ellen) Brusch; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Brusch Jr., Robert Terrence Brusch, Charles Brusch, and Scott Brusch. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, July 9th at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, MI from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lowell Eastman officiating. There will be a procession to Kittle Cemetery and a luncheon to follow at the Kittle Hall.
