Kim Oberbrunner

My dear Astrid, Carl, and Gary, I am so saddened to learn of this. Your whole family was such a warm presence for my whole time working at FSS. Kim was very sweet, and always struck me as quite devoted to, and supportive of the community. Love to you all.

Gary, Astrid and Carl, Our hearts are with you during this very sad time. We remember Kim fondly as honest and forthright.

Kim was so special; funny, intelligent, thoughtful and true to her own spirit. Our many get togethers at Sofra were always filled with laughter. It has been a wonderful gift to be able to call her a friend all these years and she will be desperately missed.

My favorite memory is sitting with her and Tom Ehrenfeld at an all school meeting, they were cracking jokes so fast and I was laughing so hard that I had to move seats. And many talks about life, family, and the world, in the pick up line.

So hard to know what to say. I will always appreciate Kim's intelligence and humor. For me she exemplified my favorite (and rare) combination of irreverent reverence for all that matters. I loved our conversations and emails. My thoughts are with you Gary, Astrid and Carl.
