I knew her as a young child and called her Kimberly Ann then. We use to play together when she and her parents came to visit my family in Sioux Falls.
Incredibly enough, Kimberly took the time to look me up on Facebook a few months ago and she wrote me a long and beautiful letter about where life had taken her.
What a surprise and joy it was to hear from her after all these years!
She sounded so happy and contented with her choices in life, and she spoke so...

Wornson, Kimberly A. (nee Knudson) age 55 of Otsego, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2012. Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Rev. Roger and NancyAnn Knudson, she married the love of her life, John, in 1983.She was a very faithful and caring person who loved her job as an addiction counselor. She enjoyed scrapbooking, quilting, jigsaw puzzles, reading, trying new recipes, and most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandson.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard & Anne Knudson, and Clarence D. & Vivian Foster, and survived by her loving husband of 29 years, John; sons Christopher (Jennifer) and Patrick; Grandson Cale; her parents; her brother David (Laurie) Knudson, sister Sheryl (Tim) Winland; uncles Delmar Knudson and James (Lauren) Knudson, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.She was active with many organizations including Mothers of Preschool Children (MOPS), the Christ Church Lutheran of Otsego, and several counseling organizations.Visitation will be held 4-8pm Thursday at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St NW, Elk River, 763-441-1212 and one hour prior to service on Friday at the church. The funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday at Christ Church, Hwy 101 at County Rd 39, in Otsego, with a private interment to follow.Those wishing to send memorials are requested to send them to Vinland National Center, 3675 Ihduhapi Rd, Loretto, MN 55357
