Not sure what to say?

This is an update to thank the Memory of Kirby for his nice gift he left us. He helped us remove some Large Pine Trees and go out to some nice dinners. Thanks Uncle Kirby!!! BTW, I still use your Chess Skills you taught me as a kid. Stoked!!!

I had the pleasure of knowing Kirby thru work. Kirby was a kind and caring person, who always had a smile and willing to help his fellow co-workers. I am very sad to hear of his passing. My sympathies to his family and many friends.

Kirby was always a low key guy. He’d do things rather than talk about doing them. Basically, he stayed low on the radar. He got around pretty smoothly visiting all the families filling everyone in on everyone. Last time we saw him, he was showing our family his beautiful pictures of his Colorado Vacation. I chuckled at the baseball ‘reading season’ reference because I remember him saying it.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Kirby. Kirby was a very special person. He loved helping younger co workers develop their careers. He helped me solve more than a few accounting issues over the years. I had not seen him much since he retired, but I am sure he was burning up the road between Roanoke and Blacksburg to see his beloved Hokies. As a Wahoo I have never written the following words, but for Kirby I will do the unimaginable “Go HOKIES”

So sorry to hear about your passing. Enjoyed having the opportunity of knowing you through work. My prayers are with your family and friends. Fly high Kirby!

Kirby was one of the finest people I ever met and became one of my best friends that I will forever miss. His support, loyalty, and trust created a bond that meant the world to me. My beloved dog, Rosie, loved him, and he loved her. That made him even more special. You will forever be missed.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
