Kitty's Obituary

Kitty Sue Woolverton, “Nenaw”, 78, of Burkburnett, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Kitty’s life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.

Kitty was born on September 17, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Harry E. and Mary Louise (Knott) Oster.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and crocheting.  She loved traveling and listening to music, and was a big fan of Elvis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Ina L. and Martin Oliver; a grandson, Derek Elizondo; and her son-in-law, Jeff Holden.

She is survived by her three daughters, Ina “Renee” Holden, Irene Marie Lotz and husband Robert, and Martha Joeann Wiggins and husband Danny; twelve grandchildren, Charles and Jessica Beck, Jeffery and Stephanie Ivey, Joshua and Miracle Beck, Phillip and Brandi Ivey, Michael Wiggins, Timothy and Christine Ivey, Daniell Holden, John and Shelby Elizondo, Christopher and Erin Bishop, Brandon and Shamiqua Wiggins, Travis and Claudia Wiggins, and Matthew Wiggins; twenty-three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Kairi, Kaden, Jordyn, Landon, Connor, Arabelle, Callie, Ella, Emmery, Elsie, Hadley, Colson, Braeden, Haylee, Kaitlin, Derek, Joan Marie, Olivia, Scarlett, Sophie, Benjamin, and Maleah; two great-great grandchildren, Axel, and Melody; and dear friends, Rose and James Whaley.
