Klemie was really one of a kind. I'm so so glad I had her as part of my family. She was a special, loving, positive, sweet person who always went out of her way for people. I will forever treasure every long and winding letter she wrote and every Big Bend treasure she would send. I feel like there will always be a little part of me missing with her.

Peace and love to you, Klemie. You made a lot of people happy.Condolences to your circle of family and friends. ❤

I am grateful I knew Klemie. She was such a bright and kind light. I am glad she left life before the pain and anguish of pancreatic cancer. She suffered enough. I am so glad she had such a good life in Marathon with Tom and the kitties. I will so miss our birthday chats. Hope to meet you again Klemie in another life.

Dear Klemmie. You were always the most caring, alive, and interesting person in the room. A heart as big as the world! What a terrible heartbreaking loss for dear Tom, and for all of us so lucky enough to have known you. Sending my love up to you in the stars. Shine on!

I met Klemie when I first started dating Tom, Larry's brother. This was about 1981 or 1982. Tom was so excited for the two of us to meet. He felt we would really hit it off and we totally did, but then, Klem had that way about her that made you feel like you were the only person in the room. She had such enthusiasm for everything. I always wanted a sister, and I felt like she was the sister I never had. I am absolutely heartbroken that she is gone. I don't think she would want us to cry and...

Like others, our friendship hails back nearly 40 years, working together at Waverly. No matter your passion - music, dance, animals, poetry, photography, reading, painting, whatever it is - Klemie seemed to love it too - supporting and encouraging you to keep pursuing it. One of her gifts was how she was able to make each of us all feel better about ourselves.

I never ran into klem that she didn't ask about me, zach. My kids. She remembered everyone and showed genuine warmth and concern. She lived her life with authenticity, compassion, love. Marathon will not be the same without her.

Klemie was just as much a sister to me as my own! She was one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met. She made the perfect partner for Tom. I will miss her smile and the way she connected with anyone she met... Love you!
