I met LJ in 1996 while working for Quality Foods. We connected again later at Yellow Freight where we were team drivers. From the first time I met LJ he was always the same, always smiling with a joke to tell and could do great impersonations. We had some good times and good laughs. Rest easy my brother you will be missed.

It was just a month ago that you were at my birthday party with family and friends. You talked, laughed and we took pictures. It is difficult to let you go. You are my last brother out of 4 brothers. We talked about you retiring from driving trucks, but didn’t expect it to be this way. I am going to miss your funny jokes, loving, caring personality and your beautiful smile. I LOVE YOU.

L J was one of the very best drivers I teamed with at Consolidated Freightways and Yellow Freight. When he was driving, you could rest well knowing you had a safe, mature, experienced and level headed person behind the wheel. My sincere condolences to the family members.

Down all highways that you travel, Blacktop, stone and even gravel
