My dear sweet Lana. I remember your sweet smile always. I know God received you with waiting arms. You will be missed by many.

I have so many memories of Lana & Uncle Boy. She was always so sweet. Praying for peace for the whole family. ❤

Walmart while she was there. My deepest sympathy.

I have know all of the Dronett family for years. I lived next door to them when they were young. I am so sorry to hear of Lana's passing. She will be greatly missed . Linda , Mary and Tim I will pray for peace and comfort for all of your families in this difficult time.

Me and Maxine will sure miss u........ You were a great person and had a great personality!!!!!!! I know you are looking down on us and smiling and having a great time in heaven!!!!!!! It will be the same without u in bingo.... Linda I will always love you like if u were an Aunt!!!!!!!! Im very sorry for by loss Aunt Linda!!!!! Me and Max will be there Wednesday!!!!!! Jus know she is watching down on you and protecting u!!! If u ever need anything look to heaven and talk to her!!!!

Lana's Obituary

Lana Dronett Kyeer, 67, of Fenton, LA passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 in a local hospital.

 

Mrs. Kyeer was born and raised in Lake Charles and attended LaGrange High School.  Upon marrying over fifty years ago she and her husband made Fenton their home.  She worked her younger years as a waitress at Emery’s Restaurant in Welsh.  During her later years she worked as a Window clerk at Delta Downs Racetrack and as a clerk and door greeter at Walmart on Highway 14.  She loved playing BINGO and making her “specialty”, cabbage rolls, for New Years and special birthdays.  Mrs. Kyeer was of Catholic Faith.  She will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her family.

 

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Timmy Kyeer and wife Charlene of Fenton and William Kyeer and wife Tracy of Lake Charles; one grandson, Tyler Kyeer; two sisters, Linda Lopez Kershaw of Fenton, and Mary Deshotel of Lake Charles.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurits Kyeer, Jr.; her grandson Aaron Kyeer; parents, William Lee Dronett and Odile Mathieu Dronett; two sisters, Wanda Lee Dronett and Sandra Walker and two brothers, Charles Ray Dronett and Hubert Lee Dronett.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 07, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate.  Interment will follow in LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton, LA.  Visitation Wednesday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home with a rosary beginning at 11:00 AM.
