Larry Louis Mart age 69, a native and resident of Gray, LA., passed away on Thursday July 3, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; Deborah Mart, his children; Arron Steverson, Sarah A.L. Harris, Susie K. Lightell and Larri “James” Clement; siblings, Helen M. Woods, Ernestine Nells, Shirley M. Frank, Claudette M. Nixon all of Gray, LA., Lydia A. Gwin of Schriever, LA., Faith M. Mart and Angela M. Mart and Perry (Diane) Mart of Houma, LA.; sister-in-laws, Sandra S. Burns (Amos) of Los Angela, Karen S. Coleman (Monroe) and Markel Steverson of New Orleans, LA; brother-in-laws, Kelmer L. Steverson, Jr., Keenan Steverson and Brad Steverson all of New Orleans, LA. Larry was proceeded in death by his parents; Ernest and Helen Richard Mart; grandparents, Rose and James Richard Sr. and Louis and Ossie Mart. siblings; Freddie J. Mart, Caroline Pharr, Alma D. Brooks, Rosemary Wallis, Joan Dell Nells and Mary Jane Jackson; mother-in-laws, Sarah A. Steverson and Father-Law Kelmer L. Steverson, Sr. sister-in-laws, Karen S. Dabney and Mona F. Steverson and granddaughter, Jessica Ann Harvey.
