O'ClairOctober 2, 1943 - December 9, 2024A private family service will be held.Larry Lee O'Clair, son of Leo and Veda (Essick) O'Clair, was born October 2, 1943 in Spencer, Iowa. He received his education in Emmetsburg, graduating from Emmetsburg High School.Larry was united in marriage to Letha Frink and they were blessed with three children, Sherry, Marie and Dick.
Larry was farmed and did construction work with his father. He was later employed at Pamline in Emmetsburg.Larry was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Emmetsburg. He enjoyed doing yard work and caring for flowers. He especially liked wild flowers. Larry liked watching the humming birds and monarch butterflies in his garden.Larry passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at Careage Hills in Cherokee, Iowa, at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Veda O'Clair; a grandson, Matthew Loder; and sons-in-law, Rob Loder and Jack Grave.He is survived by his children, Sherry Loder, Marie O'Clair and Dick O'Clair; as well as other relatives and friends.Arrangements by Martin-Mattice Funeral Home
