My sweet Uncle Larry I still miss you so very much.

So sorry to hear that Larry has passed on but all who knew him knows he is with his Heavenly Father. You girls just hang together and know he loved you all so much. Missing him...

Denise and family,
I was so sorry to read about Mr. Larry. He was a good man who made an impact on many young lives. I trusted him to watch over my two children as he transported them to school every day. He was a positive role model for many kids. RIP Mr. Larry.

Larry's Obituary

PERRY-Larry D. Sandefur, 82, entered into the arms of his loving Savior on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, with his loving family by his side, after a brief battle with pneumonia. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Lauritsen and Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome or the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Rehoboth Baptist Church, 2238 Hwy 41 N, Perry, Georgia 31069.Larry was born in Bibb County and was the son of the late Leila F. and Collie N. "Charlie" Sandefur. After marrying the love of his life, the late Dorothy G. "Dot" Sandefur, he resided in Perry, Georgia for 58 years. He proudly served our country for four years in the U.S. Army. He said "square 'em up" as a square dance caller for 35 plus years. Larry drove a school bus for the Houston County Board of Education and was a tour bus driver for the Warner Robins Senior Center for a number of years. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and the Senior Adult I Sunday School Class.His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters who dearly loved him, Denise Posey (David) of Unadilla, Robin Roughton of Warner Robins, Terry Sandefur of Byron, and Shelli Yoemans (Davy) of Perry; his grandchildren, Joseph Stinson (Alisha) of San Diego, CA, Chad Roughton of Kennesaw, Kristina Stinson of Perry, Lori Roughton of Warner Robins, and Austin Yoemans of Perry; and his great- grandchildren, Harper, Kadance, and Ansley. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy "Dot" Sandefur; his brother, E.W. Sandefur; his sisters, Louise Bragg and Frances Walker; and his son-in-law, Wayne Roughton.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
