Not sure what to say?

Vi, so sorry to hear Larry passed . He was a good fishing buddy , and always had a smile on his face . Again my condolences . God bless. Robin ( Pinky)

Vi, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I remember Larry and I remember that you were both very kind to my family. More than just good neighbors. Good friends.
Ron Dowdy ( son of Albert and Anita. Father of Richard).

So thankful for the time I got to know Larry! His baptism will always be a core memory of mine. I am praying for his family and friends and am trusting that the Lord’s presence and comfort will be felt in abundance during this time.

Larry was born on September 14, 1948 to the late James and Imogene Sparks in Wichita Falls. He was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School. He was proud of his profession, working over 40 years in paint and drywall. He loved sharing his work, skills, and experience with others.

On December 23, 1998 he married the love of his life Violeta, who he called ‘shorty’. They enjoyed life together with their two dogs Sissy and Cody. Larry’s favorite place to visit was Las Vegas, where he loved to play black jack and the slot machines.  Prior to his trips to Las Vegas, he loved to hunt and fish.  He enjoyed checking the deer lease and trotlines throughout the seasons.

Larry enjoyed life and making people laugh and his smile would light up a room. Over the past ten years his favorite hobby was making pictures and frames for friends and loved ones.  He made over one thousand and was proud of every single one.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Steve Sparks.

Larry is survived by his wife Violeta; son James Sparks and wife Angie; daughter Christy Dawson and husband Steve; five grandchildren: Jeremy and Jacob Dawson, Kayla and Cameron Levell and Morgan Branscum; and four great grandchildren: Auggie, Knox, Kenslie & Hadlie Dawson.
