Larry and my husband, Otis Anthony, were the best of buddies during their grade school years and one year of Junior High before Otis went to Tryon to High School. Otis told many stories of their escapades when they were young. I think they both spent most of their summers in the North Platte River or the swimming pool. Sorry to hear of Larry's passing.

I know we have not seen each other in some time. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Larry! He was with out a doubt my favorite Uncle. I remember coming home off leave from the military and playing golf with him and he schooling me at the same time. "Go ahead big boy hit it as hard as you can " he said.."i will still beat you to the green, because I stay on the fairway while you chase your ball in the rough or the woods, I will beat you...

Larry C. Stacy, Sr., 81, of North Platte, passed away May 9, 2019 at home. Cremation was chosen. Services will be at a later date. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in care of arrangements.
