Mr. Larry Thomas Wilder, Jr., age 37 of 112 Crawford Lane, Black Creek, NC., passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his residence.Larry Thomas Wilder, Jr., was the son of Mrs. Brendia Exum Wilder and the late Larry Thomas Wilder, Sr.A celebration of his life will be held Friday 12:00 pm at L. B. J. Community Center, 1007 South John Street, Goldsboro, NC. Interment will follow in the Fremont Cemetery, 174 Winding Branch Avenue, Fremont, NC.A public viewing will take place Friday from 11am until time of service at 12pm at the L.B.J. Community Center.Cherishing his memories are his fiancee', Elizabeth (Dee Dee) Oates and Darius, who was like a son to him; his mother, Brendia Wilder of Dudley; four sisters, Melissa Artis of Stantonsburg, NC, Tamara Wilder of Seven Springs, NC Shenita Wilder of Raleigh, NC and LaQueila Wilder-Shaw of Dudley, NC; three brothers, Launcelot Wilder (Tamika) of Goldsboro, NC., Darrius Wilder (Marisa) of Junction Dity, KS., and Kris Wilder of Raleigh NC.; his grandmother, Irene H. Exum; his grandfather, John Mack Wilder; six nephews, Joshua, Emmanuel, Simeon, Noah, Caleb and Launcelot, Jr.; his aunts, Hilda W. Parks, JohnAnn Best (Roosevelt), Rosemary Wilder, Velma E. Hinnant (Hobbie), and Mona B. Exum; his uncles, Mack Wilder (Angeline), James Wilder (Karen), Waddell Exum (Marcia), Donnell Exum, and James (Stanley) Exum (Brenda); several great aunts and uncles; cousins,; God-sisters, Vicky Wallace (Billy) and Goldie Kornegay (Pokie); God-brothers, Leonard Bynum (Tonya) and Lennell Bynum and a host of other special relatives and friends.The family will receive friends at his mother's residence, 310 Rolling Wood Drive, Dudley, NC., where they will also assemble one hour prior to the funeral service in preparation of the funeral procession.
