LaTasha Rene Celestine, age 53, was born in Houma, Louisiana on June 2, 1972 to the union of Hillary and Dorothy Mae Brown Celestine. She was quietly and peacefully called to her eternal home on Wednesday December 17, 2025 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. LaTasha was reared in a Christian home and was baptized at the New Rising Sun Church at an early age. She attended Terrebonne Parish public Schools and later moved to Opelousas, Louisiana. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted friend, Malcolm Frank; biological sons, Jazzarie (Arielle) and Raymond (Stacy) Celestine; biological daughters, Glendalyn and Aneisa Celestine; one grandchild, Marleigh; brother, Patrick Brown of Oklahoma City, OK.; sister, Sharon Brown-Hooper of Jefferson City, Missouri; aunt, Terrie (Dwayne) Lyons of Houma, Louisiana; devoted cousins, Debra Galmore, Carmen C. Aitkens (Christopher), and Olivia C. Smith (Daral), all of Houma, Louisiana; and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hillary and Dorothy Brown Celestine; sister, Belinda M.
