Growing up in Irasburg was proof that true “villages” still exist. They always say it takes a village, and throughout my childhood I have many memories of the genuine love and kindness that radiated from Laura throughout the hardships I experienced. She always checked on me anytime we crossed paths, which wasn’t frequently, but she still made sure to make my day better each time. My prayers are with you, Denis, Brandon, and family.

I want to send you my heartfelt condolence for your mom. I only met her a couple of times. She seemed to be very bubbly and happy. I know she loved you guys. God has wrapped his arms around her.

We are so sorry to hear about Laura. She always would take a minute to stop and talk and always had a big smile on her face. She was a very kind soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest sympathy to all of Laura's family. I have known and worked with her through several roles in various schools around the Northeast Kingdom. Her love and devotion for the students she worked with always shone through. There is no doubt that she made a difference in the life of so many students who benefited from having Laura in their corner! Her kindness and compassion will be remembered and treasured!
