I had the pleasure of working with Laura for only a few months and what a lasting impression she made on me. She was not just a teammate, but a buddy to me, as I went through my new hire journey at American Water. She loved to talk about her family and she was always asking me about mine. We would share stories, professionally and personally, always joking with each other. I started to nickname her "Obi-Wan Kenobi" and she loved it, calling me young Skywalker. From the time we lived across the street from you when I was just a baby -- until I last saw her in high school -- Laura was always full of joy, smiles, and kindness.
