Not sure what to say?

I worked with Laverne at Wilton for a few years. She was my first boss at my very first full time office job. She was a great mentor. The nicest sweetest lady. She will be missed.

Laverne, was a beautiful second mother to me, as I had the pleasure to grow up with her daughter Celeste. I met Celeste and Laverne in 3rd grade and will always remember her contagious smile & laughter. We will continue to live on your legacy. Thank you Laverne for all the love and kindness. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. XXO Misty Flannery & Family

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Laverne was one of my dearest and closest friend For over 45 years I loved her with all my heart she will be deeply missed. She was always so loving and caring she stepped in as my mom when my mom passed away always supportive

Aunt "Vernie" was very inspiring to me as a youngster. She gave me my first book as a birthday present. I fondly remember her, even though we met up only infrequently on special family occasions later on. She was always a pleasure to talk with; never a "discouraging word". I'll plant a mountain ash tree in her memory in the spring, with a bench where I will seek her smile and counsel, again and again. My condolences to all her family from nephew Bob.

Your wings where ready, but our hearts were not,
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
We will miss you Laverne, you were there for Gwen and I since the beginning of our married life.
Our kids loved to hear about and see your adventures on face book. Life won't be the same without you.

Laverne was a good friend. I will miss her. Love you so much Laverne. Rest in peace. Always in my heart ❤.
