Not sure what to say?

Met Vern In Cape Hatteras many Years ago, on our annual Memorial Week fishing trip. We loved him right from the get go. He was a Man's man and loved to Fish. He always fished with one of my best friends Drew Kerekes. Drew loved to catch Blue Marlin as well as Vern but Vern always loved to go to the bottom. He had a special love for catching those Grouper and Tiles. He always had a smile on his face, and that is very special. We will miss him dearly. We pray for his family for peace knowing...

Vern was one of a kind. Big heart and big personality. He will certainly be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers and kind regards. Rosie Smith

Knew Laverne from Choco High School! He was always kind, nice and a Gentleman! Prayers and love to his family and friends!

After over 40 years of business relationship with Vern, every employee here would say he was great to do business with, always fun. But he also became more than someone we did business with; he was our longtime friend. He was someone we loved talking to about so much more than irrigation. The man will be missed ever so much more than his business. Rest high on that mountain my friend.... in His Presence!

So sad to hear of Vern's passing! Worked with him as a Vendor for 15 years and he was always a pleasure to chat with and could always give me a good laugh! I hope you have a great place to fish in heaven buddy! Sending lots of prayers and love to his family!

Prayers for the family

Deepest condolences to the Parker family.
