I graduated with Tenny. We had a wonderful class of 1970. And we were a close class. Our condolence are with you and your family during this difficult time. I hope memories and God be with you.

Sorry to hear that your Mom passed away. She was always so kind and nice to me when I visited. Your have my sincerest sympathy during this difficult time. It’s heartbreaking and just so sad...

We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Lavonne. I have so many fond memories of her growing up. Our thoughts and prayers to the family.

I heard much about "Aunt Lavonne" growing up, friends with Penny. So sorry, Terry to hear of her passing. I can still here you talk about your Mom. And, Penny and Pauline, sympathy to you, as well. To the Feltmeyer families.

Lavonne's Obituary

Lavonne Lucille Feltmeyer, 94 of Stockton Illinois, passed away on January 8th, 2021, at her home.  

She was born on March 4th, 1926 in Massbach, Illinois the daughter of Josephine and William Teichler.  

Lavonne attended Stockton schools and was employed at Burgess Battery.  She married Allen Feltmeyer on April 17th 1948.  During their courtship they enjoyed attending dances and traveling.  They farmed in the Stockton area and raised a family of three children – Tenny (Pat Cook) of Mill City, OR, Becky (Cory Banket) of Milwaukee, WI, and Terry (Paula) Feltmeyer of Stockton IL.  

Lavonne was a lifelong member of Stockton Eastern Star and Christ Lutheran Church. 

She treasured her family and friends first and foremost. 

Lavonne enjoyed gardening, canning, needlepoint, decorating for the holidays (especially Christmas), and cooking/baking.  She was known for her fried chicken, chocolate cake, and pies.  She was an equal partner in farming with Allen for 41 years.  

She is survived by her three children, four grandchildren – Malisa, Charles, Caley, Troy, 10 great grandchildren, a very special niece Kathy Durham, her good friend Barb Randecker and 3 sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joyce Fosler, her husband Allen, 5 brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, and good friend Bess Vanderheyden. 

A private family service will be held.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
