Among his other accomplishments, Poppa Larry was immediately smitten with his first grandchild and took her to everything from haircuts, the ballet, lunch and so much more. He will be missed by our family in so many ways.

Over the years when I’ve seen a box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, I can’t help but think of Larry. Nobody made it like he did—creamy, cheesy, and with those hotdogs that made it extra special when we were kids. It’s a memory that always makes me smile.

I had the pleasure of being one of the many students of Dr. LeBlanc at Marquette. Even though I was a political science major, my specialty was American Politics. However, after taking his Introduction to International Relations, I had to take more of his classes, because he made it so fascinating and so easy to listen to. That Louisiana accent didn't hurt either. We were on the opposite end of the political spectrum, but he never held it against me. A truly wise, caring and gifted individual...
