I knew Larry growing up, just down the street. One small moment has stayed with me all these years—Larry once showed me a simple magic trick where a quarter seemed to disappear.
I’ve used that same trick countless times as my kids were growing up, and every single time I thought of Larry. I always will. It’s funny how something so small can carry so much meaning, and how a person can quietly live on through moments like that.
