Not sure what to say?

Larry was one of our very first friends in the neighborhood, and he played a big role in helping us get settled. He will forever have a place in our hearts.

We first met Larry when he was recommended to clear our lot before we began building. He was 83 years old at the time, but you would never have known it by watching him work. Not only did he run the backhoe, he’d jump off and grab the chainsaw to help with the cutting. I was 63, in good shape, and a hard worker — yet Larry...

Hi my name is Rosie Kadiddlehopper. I met Larry over 40 years ago in San Antonio. And this was the name he gave me. LOL
He taught me about black ice on the road and how to ride a motorcycle. Definitely fun times. He taught me about working and being independent so I didn’t have to rely on anyone but myself. That has carried me through a lifetime. I have lots of fond memories over the years of a good hardworking man and may he rest in peace now. Lots of love to you Larry until we meet...

It was a privilege to work with her dad I learned a lot from him he talk highly about the kids all the time that he was proud of them and God bless y’all and be strong

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I will always remember him as a kind and wonderful man. Very caring and would give you the shirt off his back if needed.

Pam I pass on our sincere condolences to Larry's entire family. We have known Larry for well over 20 years and truly enjoyed the many times he would stop over or us stop over at his house to chat and for him tell us his great life adventure stories. Pam especially enjoyed baking him a birthday cake and cookies for Christmas. He endured much in his life especially during the war. Larry was a true patriot who loved his country and sacrificed for it and selflessly helped many others along his...

Uncle Larry (Roger to me growing up) was a wonderful man. My grandmother his mother encouraged me to write him letters when he was stationed in Germany. I was young, and we started writing back and forth. He shared about his nights out on post. He also showed an interest in me and what was going on in my life. He was a caring man and a hard worker. Every time I called to talk he had been out working. He made me tired just hearing all he did. I guess I thought he would always be here. ...

Pam and I have known Larry for well over 20 years. He was always kind to us and would frequently stop by to chat or we would stop his house to chat and give him some homemade cookies, He was an honest, hard working and very caring man. Larry proudly served his country and would tell us many stories of things he was involved with during the war. He dealt with much and like he did during the war he sacrificed much to help those around him. Pam and I will miss Larry but know he is home...

Larry was my neighbor. We'll miss him.
Larry cleared our property of all the unwanted brush. He was so thoughtful.
