Leandro (aka) Shorty and I spend many years having fun in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We were like brothers. When he got drafted he asked me to join the Army so I did. After all our military training he was deployed to Vietnam and I was deployed to South Korea. After our Military service we went back to Michigan and enjoyed Life.

What a sweet, caring man with that contagious laugh. Leandro Lara was a perfect addition to the family when he married Sharon Williamson; a perfect match. But in 2011, Lee lost the love of his life. The McLenithan family continued to show Lee he was and always would be their brother-in-law. Lee decided he wanted to connect with his family in Texas, which welcomed him with open arms. We missed him when he left, but always kept in touch. Lee is now at peace and is once again with Sharon.
