Leandro's Obituary

Leandro Randy Vega was born July 22, 1953 in Tempe, AZ.  He entered into eternal rest June 19, 2021 surrounded by his family.  He is preceded by his parents Leandro Jr. and

Herminia Vega, sister Rosemary Vega, and brother Manuel Elias Salazar.  He is survived by his wife Grace Vega of 49+ years, son Alex (Monica) Vega, 3 grandchildren Cameron, Aiden, and Izabelle Vega, 8 extended grandchildren, and 9 extended great grandchildren, 2 sisters Delores (Ted) Montijo, Linda (Steve) Mendoza, and brother Danny (Marie) Vega, Sister-in-law Cathy (Joey) Pompa, 2 brother-in-laws Gilbert (Margie) Jacques, and Albert Jacques, and an abundance of nephews and nieces, godchildren, and friends.  His cup runneth over.  Randy graduated from East High in Phoenix in 1972.  He worked for Honeywell for 49 years.  His biggest joy was his family.  He had a big heart of gold.  Randy loved to go camping, our family trips to San Diego for spring break, and especially the annual Laughlin car shows.  His love for his Arizona Cardinals and ASU were his special enjoyments, especially when he was able to take his family and friends.  He will be truly missed.

A Celebration of Life will take place  for Randy on Friday, July 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E Southern Ave  Tempe Az. 85282
