Leanne Moose Wheless

Leanne Moose Wheless, 67, of Perryton, Texas passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 in Perryton, Texas.  No services were held.  Cremation arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Leanne was born on May 6, 1958 in Aurora, Colorado to Ralph Waldo Moose and Ethel Lee Cook Moose.  She had several college degrees, and she served in the United States Army.  She married her husband, Sherman Wheless in Giddings, Texas on March 8, 1989.  She loved to bake, and that was her vocation.  

Leanne is survived by her husband; five daughters, Alexis Doffiri of Houston, Texas, Melissa Merrell of Borger, Texas, Rashel Carrico of Round Top, Texas, Laura of Carney’s Point, New Jersey, and Rhonda Phelan of Sugarland, Texas; three sons, Edgar Weakland of Williamstown, New Jersey, Rodney Kessel of Giddings, Texas, and Mason Skidmore of Borger, Texas; and eighteen grandchildren.
