Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

I always enjoyed being with LeeAnn all during our school days in Longview, Texas. She was so funny and sweet it was a pleasure to be with her. I know she will be missed so very many friends and family. What a great smile and laugh she had.

In memory of a Great lady who was full of laughter and life.

Lee Ann and I knew each other before either of us were born..our parents stood up at each other's wedding..Lee Ann, George, and Charles, and I spent our childhood causing mischief and having fun..

Lee Ann O’ Quinn Thornton, 83, passed away on March 10, 2018 at 3:30 PM. She was born on September 1, 1394 in Longview, Texas to Homer Lee and Mayme Ann O’ Quinn. She lived the first half of her life in Texas before moving to Napoleonville, LA where she lived happily for over 40 years. She is survived by her daughter, Vikki Taft and husband Justin Taft, III; step son, V. Ray Thornton, III and wife Connie; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jessica Thornton, Chance, Kenny and Beau Diaz; as well as many great grandchildren. Lee Ann loved her family deeply and enjoyed her time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Lee and Mayme Ann O’ Quinn; twin brothers, George and Charles O’ Quinn; daughter, Rex Ann Ward; husband, V. Ray Thornton, Jr.; granddaughter, Misty Lee Boudreau; and stepdaughter, Virginia Diaz. Lee Ann will be missed by family and friends alike. Everyone who knew her loved her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She always tried to do whatever she could for others. She would put her head down and place her hand on her hips and shake her arthritic finger just so that we knew she meant business. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Keith Landry, the doctors and staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, as well as the sitters and staff at Cardinal Hospice. Thank you also to friends and neighbors for prayers and concern. Donations may be made in memory of Lee Ann to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. As requested by Lee Ann, no services will be held. Condolences can be expressed at www.ordoynefunerals.com. Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
