Lena Bonesio

Age 93, of Pittsburgh passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was born Emanuela Lena Tommasi on November 7, 1926 in Sicily, Italy. Lena was the daughter of the late Emanuele and Rosa Nani Tommasi. Lena was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Guiseppe “Joseph” Bonesio, brother Giovanni Tommasi, sister Guisepina Pepi and grandson Angelo J. Bonesio. She is survived by her Son Angelo Bonesio and his wife, Diane; daughters Rose Fera, Josephine Kaputa and Tina (Tom) Doverspike. Grandchildren Dana (John) Drabisin, Debra Capo, Karen (Al) Herb, Gina Fera Rivera (Olive), Lisa Fera and Teresa Fera; Great grandchildren Marla, John Michael, Jerome, Genevieve, Nathan, Angelo, Silvio, Gianna, Sophia, Olivia and Vincenzo; sisters Gina Nicosia and Giovanna Interliggi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and funeral private due to current restrictions on gatherings.
