As a neighbor who grew up with Leon and played marbles with him, I send condolences to the Bilbrew family at this time. We are never ready to say goodbye, but he is at peace. May each cherished memory bring a smile to your heart. Our prayers are with you during this time.

Leon Bilbrew, Jr. was born on December 22, 1946 in Canton, MS to Leon Sr. and Lorraine Bilbrew. He was the youngest of five children.
Leon was a member of First Hyde Park M.B. Church under the leadership of Pasto Terry Davis. He accepted Christ at an early age.
Leon graduated from Lanier High School "833" the Class of 1965. He joined and served in the US Airforce Stationed at Nellis Airforce Based in Las Vegaas, Neveda from 1966-1970. His profession was in the Medical Field. He worked as an LPN with Pleasant Hill Comprehensive, Belhaven, Clinton Health Rehabilitation and The VA Medical Center. He had a love for Fashion from his down to his feet.
Leon met and married Annise Bullock and to this Union three children were born Ruben Bilbrew, Leon Bilbrew, III, and Antoine Bilbrew.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Bilbrew, Sr. and Mrs. Lorraine Bilbrew, siblings: Jessie Lee Bilbrew, Betty Lou Bilbrew, Clara Mayberry, Luretha Bilbrew-McKenzie, Anita Denise Maberry (niece), Antionette Bilbrew (granddaughter).
Leon leaves to cherish his memory (3)children: Ruben Bilbrew (Robin), Leon Bilbew, III (KaSondra Lavette), and Antione Bilbrew (Maria). Mrs. Earnest Lee Hubbard (sister), (11) Grandchildren, (15) Great-Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
