Leonard M. Kadzielawski, age 96, US Army veteran of the Korean War, Chicago native and longtime Niles resident, passed peacefully into the light on October 26, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy, nee Nejman, with whom he shared 54 beautiful years of marriage; loving father of Ronald (Elke) and Thomas (Tarah); cherished grandpa of Jacob (fiancée Heather), Matthew, Samantha and Kyle; dear brother of the late Jerome (late Gladys), the late Rev. Edwin and the late Edmund; devoted son of the late Stanley and Bernice, nee Grabowski; fond uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Leonard's family was the center of his world, and he took great joy in their accomplishments and presence. He will be remembered for the love he gave freely, the wisdom he shared humbly, and the steady presence he offered to all who knew him. He now joins his beloved Dorothy in eternal peace. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him. Visitation at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N.
