Leonides "Leo" Vazquez

Leonides "Leo" Vazquez, 94 of Lorain passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Avon Oaks Caring Community following a lengthy illness.

He was born June 7, 1928 in Florida, Puerto Rico. He retired from US Steel, Lorain.

He is survived by his sons Vidal and Hermas Vazquez  sisters Rosalinda Matos and Mary Vazquez; brother Gamaliel Vazquez and grandsons Joe Rivera and Robert Vazquez.

Leo was preceded in death by his wife Carmen Vazquez; daughter Carmen Belen Vazquez and his parents Evaristo and Concepcion (nee Soto).

His family will receive friends Wednesday August 3, 2022, At Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain from 1 until time of his funeral service at 4 PM.
