Prayers and my heartfelt condolences to the Stokes family. I found out today while visiting the commissary and seeing this beautiful poster plastered with Mr. Stokes and his co workers pictures, only finding out that Mr. Stokes had transitioned. My heart was saddened because I am used to seeing his presence and asking about family. Val, Susan, and family, be comforted in knowing that your dad was so loved and honored. I will miss him for sure. God truly favored Mr. Stokes with long life...

We just found out today about Mr.Leroy. He such a kind and gentle person. We will miss seeing him at the Commissary. Your Family is in our prayers.

My Deepest Condolences To The Family.

Every time I went grocery shopping at the commissary, I would ask for him to be my bagger. He was always so kind and friendly. I miss him and I just found out today about his passing. He will truly be missed.

Mr. Leroy Stokes Jr., entered into rest on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Carpentersville Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Walker Memorial Park. There will be a viewing on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 1-5 p.m.
