Not sure what to say?

Dear Becker family, Marc and I want to extend our sympathy to you on Leslie’s passing. She was such strong life force and we feel privileged to know her. She and I worked together on many sisterhood projects. With the work there were lots of giggles. We often compared notes on our children , Aaron/jennifer and Jason/Matthew. Cherie was a big and positive influence on Jennifer going to IU. I could go on forever with antidotes about my relationship with Leslie. Although Marc and I live...

Leslie's Obituary

With much sadness, we announce the passing of Leslie Ann Becker (nee Boguslaw) on Friday, October 17, 2025, after a brief illness.

Leslie is survived by her husband, Ronald Becker, her children, Cherie (Nir) Regev, Aaron (Anat) Becker, and Jaeson Becker, and grandchildren Dalia Regev, Elie Regev, Samantha Becker and Jordan Becker. Leslie is also survived by her brother, Marc (Christy) Boguslaw, brother-in-law Bruce (Cindy) Becker and nieces and nephews, Alissa Boguslaw, Michael Boguslaw, Lauren Becker, and Brian (Sloan) Becker.

Leslie was an avid traveler, visiting more than 100 countries and all seven continents with Ronald, her husband of almost 60 years. Leslie was a generous and talented hostess whose cakes, pies, and chocolate chip cookies delighted her family and friends around the country. Leslie was a sewing maven, and her talents were put to good use in providing countless blankets for the Ronald McDonald House, beautifully stitched Tefillin and Tallit bags, as well as her stylish fashion creations. Her renowned hospitality was appreciated and treasured by her many friends and relatives.

Leslie was a longtime member of Congregation B'nai Amoona where she also served as Women's League president. One of her proudest achievements was to become a Bat Mitzvah and read Torah in her 60s. Leslie was a voracious reader and student of history, politics and current affairs. She never shied away from a good debate and advocacy for women’s rights.

The funeral will take place at Congregation B'nai Amoona, 324 S. Mason Road, on Tuesday, October 21st at 1:30 PM, with visitation starting at 1:00 PM. The interment will be private. Live stream available by clicking "watch video."  Shiva will be held at the home of Cherie and Nir Regev (13027 Pingry Place) on Tuesday, October 21st from 4:30 - 8:00pm and Wednesday, October 22nd from 5:00 - 8:00pm.  The family requests that donations in Leslie's memory be made to the charity of your choice.
