With profound sadness, we share the unexpected passing of our dear mother, Leslie Tagliabue, who left us far too soon on December 6, 2025 at the age of 48. Her sudden departure has left an ache in our hearts that words cannot fully express.
Born on November 23, 1977, Leslie brought light, warmth, and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a gift for making ordinary moments feel special—whether through her quick wit, her comforting presence, or the way she always seemed to know exactly what her loved ones needed. She lived her life with sincerity, compassion, and a quiet strength that inspired those around her.
A true lover of nature, Leslie found peace and joy in the outdoors. She cherished quiet mornings spent in the fresh air and spent most days at home surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. Among all animals, she had a special affection for her chickens. Caring for them brought her a sense of purpose and genuine happiness—she delighted in their personalities, their routines, and the simple comfort they added to her daily life. Her feathered companions were a reflection of her gentle spirit and nurturing heart.
As a mother, she was devoted, tender, and fiercely loving. She guided us with wisdom beyond her years and a love that never wavered. Her sudden absence leaves a space that can never be filled, yet her influence remains in every lesson she taught, every kindness she offered, and every memory she created with us.
Leslie is survived by her parents, Kevin and Mary Tagliabue of Burkburnett, Texas; her three children: son, David Tagliabue of Fort Lupton, Colorado; daughter, Brittney and husband Alexander Benke of Lawton, Oklahoma; and daughter, Brandy Gonzales of Duncan, Oklahoma. She leaves behind granddaughter, Kinley Benke. Her surviving family members will carry her legacy forward with the same love, compassion, and appreciation for life that she embodied every day.
Though her time with us was cut short, her love will remain our guiding light—today, tomorrow, and always.
May she rest in peace.
