Levi's Obituary
Levi G. Cash Jr., age 84 of Nix, TX passed away November 27, 2013 at his residence in Nix, TX. He was born March 9, 1929 in Houston, TX the son of Levi G. Cash Sr. and Cassie (Clark) Cash. Levi was a pipefitter and construction superintendent for large construction contractors. He married Mary Jane Cowan May 20, 1950 in Oklahoma. Levi had resided in the area since 1977. He was a member of Saratoga Lodge 546 A.F and A.M. as well as OES 876. He had served as Past Master and District Deputy. Survivors include wife of 63 years, Mary Jane Cash. Son,Levi G. Cash III and wife Val. Daughter, Mary Patricia Laird and husband Ray. 4 grandchildren; Patti Jean McCall, Brandon Cash McCall, Levi G. "Beau"Cash IV and wife Angela, Lorrie Gail Folmar and husband Jason. 2 step-grandchildren; Tracie Comeaux and husband Shannon and Curtis Ray Laird II and wife Vanessa. 7 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren also survive. A Masonic memorial graveside service will be held Sunday December 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Nix Cemetery. Levi's body will be cremated.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Saratoga Masonic Lodge 546 in Lampasas, TX 76550.
