Levi Miller

Levi  "Lee" Miller, of Nappanee, IN, age 82 years, 5 months, and 23 days, died at 8:50 am on Monday, March 16, 2026 at his residence.  Levi was born on September 21, 1943 in Berlin, OH to Milo and Amanda (Hochstetler) Miller. On May 9, 1963, Levi married Katie Marie Bontrager. She preceded him in death on March 15, 2018. Levi was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by his 4 children: Sara (John) Hochstetler of Nappanee, Jerry (Erma) Miller of Shipshewana, IN, Joe (Alma) Miller of Nappanee; and John (Julie) Miller of Elkhart, IN; 28 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Ruby Christner of New Paris, IN and Mary Worburton of Peyton, CO; and a sister-in-law, Etta (Howard) Miller of Ligonier, IN. Levi was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katie Marie Miller; a great granddaughter, Olivia Miller; 4 brothers: Lloyd, Harley, Roman, and Mose Miller; 2 brothers-in-law: Menno Lambright and Sam Christner; and 3 sisters-in-law: Katie Miller, Liz Miller, and Wilma Hochstetler. Visitation will be held after 2 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 and all-day on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the Joe Miller Residence (70951 CR 9, Nappanee, IN). A funeral service will begin at 9:30 am on Friday, March 20, 2026, also at the Joe Miller Residence. Bishop Leroy Hochstetler and Home Ministries of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate. Burial will take place in West Union Center Cemetery.
