Not sure what to say?

Leroy at home

"Twas an honor to have met Leroy, to feel the kindness of his heart, to understand the sorrow in his eyes. He was one, of millions, whose life's story added to the history of a terrible conflict. Leroy was a truly human and most honorable gentleman. A most extraordinary artist, truly a gift, blessed to have seen his art.

Leroy, Marianna, Eloisa (mom), & Chris

I added a post a few days ago. i happened to run across this picture from our family reunion back in 2009, in which Leroy had attended. I just thought I would post it also.

Leroy was a very nice person who I met while he visited my brother Chris, his cousin. I am very sorry for your loss. May your memories bring you comfort and peace. May he rest in peace.

Leory was a wonderful man with many talents and a big heart. He helped my brother Chris with his automobiles countless times and was always so generous with his time and skills. He was also a renowned saint maker and was featured in the New Mexico Magazine at one time for that remarkable talent. I lived in Springer at that time and had the privilege of knowing him. My sincere condolences to Dennis and the rest of the family. May the Good Lord comfort your grieving hearts and grant you...

My sympathy to Leroy's family. He was a cousin to my brother Chris Duran. I didn't know Leroy well but I did meet him a few times when he visited Chris in Cimarron. He was a very nice person and enjoyed visiting with Chris and our family. May God's light shine upon him.
