Not sure what to say?

Tearing up as I write this, but I’m grateful you no longer have to suffer. I want to personally thank you for always being a true friend to my mom—looking out for her when my dad was away in the military, all while carrying me. ( You knew me before I knew myself )

I’ll never forget the Fridays at your house in Ettrick, eating Chinese food or Hawk’s Fish while the adults talked and gathered inside and us kids played in the yard. Those are memories I’ll always hold close.
