Linda Sue Neal

Williamsport – Linda Sue (Fink) Neal, 79, passed away at Franciscan Health in Lafayette on October 9, 2025, at 12:03 p.m.      Linda was born on March 26, 1946, in rural Warren County, the daughter of the late Ernest Herman and Weltha Joyce (Whitlock) Fink. She graduated from Seeger High School in 1964 and worked for Radio Material as a circuit processor.      Linda was a member of Hickman Heights Church. She enjoyed horse racing, watching British television and movies, and catching up with friends and family on Facebook. Family was very important to Linda—especially visits from her nieces and nephews, their children, and grandchildren—and she knew each by name.      While she lived with pain regularly, Linda still possessed a wonderful gift of humor. She could always bring a smile or laughter to those around her, whether family, friends, nurses, or doctors.      Linda married Roy Burnside “R.B.” Neal on July 6, 1972, in Covington, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2001. She always kept his picture nearby.      She is survived by her brothers Larry Fink, Jack Fink, and Mike (Linda) Fink, all of Williamsport; her sister Kathy (Bill) Burton of Fowler; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Fink and Herman Fink, and her sisters Joyce Haddock and Judy Scolley.      Friends may call at Hickman Heights Church on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rainsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hickman Heights Backpack Program.
