Linda Lee Frasure, 76, passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2025, surrounded by her devoted husband, Jimmy, and their beloved dog, Buddy.
Born on February 13, 1949, Linda was known for her contagious laugh, well-timed jokes, warm hugs, and a sharp tongue that never missed its mark. Fiercely loyal and full of wit, she had a way of saying exactly what she was thinking—whether you were ready or not. Her humor, honesty, and generous heart made her unforgettable.
She loved holidays, cooking, roses, her family, and being wonderfully silly. Linda never left the house looking like anything less than classic Hollywood actress. Her spirit lives on in every burst of laughter and every blooming flower.
Linda is survived by her husband, James Frasure; her children: Stacey Mendez (Pat), Tami Spence (Wayne), and Jamie Freeman (Mark); her grandchildren: Amanda Aurora, Steven Doorlag (Lauren), Emily Mendez, Eva Mendez, Benjamin Freeman, Ellie Freeman, Norah Freeman, Rachelle Graham (Wesley), Taryn Spence, and Connor Spence; and her great-grandchildren: Milena Llamas, Bryce Doorlag, Chase Doorlag, Lincoln Graham, and Rylan Graham.
A memorial gathering will be held at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, Michigan 48124, 313-561-1500 on Friday, May 16, from 3:00–8:00 p.m. All are welcome to come share memories, laughter, and love in honor of Linda’s beautiful life.
