It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother. On January 26, 2026, Linda Lee Johnson, of Haddon Twp. 76 years old. Linda was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on April7, 1949 to the late Frank and Eva Jean Johnson. Predeceased by her Life Partner Theodore North, her brother Frank Johnson and sister Marlene Elwell. She is survived by her sister Diane Durham of Pueblo, Colorado, her three daughters, Michelle Hale (Gregory) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Jeanie Hayward (Patrick) of Clinton Twp., Michigan and Christy Olah (Paul) of Cherry Hill, NJ. She was Grandmom to 7: Amanda, Gregory, Jr, Sabrina, Darby, Paulie, Morgan and Christopher. 11 great grandchildren, She was GiGi to: Timothy, Scarlett, Landon, Declan, Nathan, Luca, Finn, Tanner, Westin and Avery. Her nieces Jennifer, Laura and Alexandra. Linda resided on the 10th floor of Rorher Towers and absolutely adored the fabulous view and spectacular Sunsets. She had a great work ethic. In her younger years Linda owned a grocery store in East Camden (Master Grocer) and Bon Bon Bakery Pennsauken, then was a Hostess and waitress over a 40 years span at many banquets and Diners. Linda loved sports. She loved watching the Phiilies and the Eagles games and was totally involved in all the goings on with the grands and great grands. Always finding them the perfect gifts for their birthdays and Christmas time.
She was the matriarch of the family and will be sadly missed by her entire family and friends. A special thank you to Vitas Hospice Care, as they comforted her transition and her loyal Aide Yajaira Tejada who care fofr her so lovingly on a daily basis. Relatives and friends are invited on February11, 2026, 6 to 8 pm at Roedel-Krause Funeral Services, 315 E. Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ for Visitation, Eulogy and Prayers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Speedy Recovery via Venmo @ SpeedyRecovery. Speedy Recovery is a non profit that loans out new and gently used medical equipment to those in need of it.
