Linda Cariol Van Buskirk

Linda (Pearce) Van Buskirk, of Fallbrook, Ca., Born April 2, 1942 in Pasadena, Ca.. The only child of William and Mildred Pearce of South Gate, Ca.

Linda and her parents moved to Huntington Park, CA. when she was about 8 years old. She attended Huntington Park High School where she met her future Husband Mike. She graduated from high school in 1959 and Mike in 1957. They Married on April 23, 1960. They had 2 children, Brian Jay and Donna Lynn.

They moved to Rowland Heights where they bought their first home when Mike was transferred to Fullerton, where he was employed with Southern California Edison Co. They then moved to Yorba Linda, CA. where Linda became active in the PTA, Little league and Bobettes Softball, and the Yorba Linda Junior Women's Club, serving as President in 1971-1972.

They then moved to Hemet, Ca. due to another transfer of Mike's employment, where Linda went back to work as a secretary, her favorite job, was Secretary for the Detectives at the Hemet Police Department. After a few more transfers to Palm Desert, and Bishop, they retired and returned to Southern Ca. They settled in Fallbrook, Ca., where Linda became a very active member of the Angels Society of Fallbrook for 20 years. She made many dear friends and was active in Christ the King Lutheran Church of Fallbrook, Ca. 

After retirement, Linda and Mike did quite a bit of traveling in their motorhome and later their 5th wheel, and a few cruises to Europe and the Carribean.

Linda is survived by her Husband: Mike, Daughter: Donna, Grandchildren: Cory, Hailee, Kevin, Dillon and Allison as well as three Great Grandson's
