Linda Y. Woudema (nee Stamper), of Chesterton, 71, passed away December 23, 2023, in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was born April 12, 1952, to the late Vernon and Lena (nee Caudill) Stamper.
Linda married her love Gary Woudema on December 26, 1970, and together they raised one son, Gary “Bucky” Jr. Linda was a lifelong homemaker who loved to cook and care for everyone she knew. She was a caring, kind-hearted woman who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Above all, she adored and spoiled her grandchildren. Linda is loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
Linda will be forever remembered by her husband, Gary; son, Gary “Bucky” (Natale) Woudema; grandchildren, Renee, Haley, and Gary III; great granddaughter, Lylah; siblings, Rick (Cathie) Stamper, Lana Perryman, and Debbie Stamper; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David Perryman.
Family will receive friends from 10:00am - 2:00pm Friday, December 29 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana 46368 with funeral service to follow at 2:00pm, also at Rees Olson Chapel.
