Lionel “NiNi” “Bird” Walters, age 76, a native and a resident of Houma, LA was born on October 23, 1949 passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He is survived by his siblings; Evelyn Walter, Mary W. Scott (Linwood) , Gail W. Moore (Alvin) and Debra W. Stovall (Kevin). He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley Walters, Sr. and Doretha Tillman Walters; his siblings, Charley Walters, Jr., Leonard Walters, Willie Lee Walters, Daniel Walters, Edward Walters, Stafford Walters, Richard Walters, Cary Walters, Mercedes W. Smith, Stella Walters, Bertha Walters, and Gloria W. Landry; and his grandparents, Bertha Robinson, Joe Tillman, Sarah Johnson and Amos Walters.
