Not sure what to say?

I was Lisa's best friend and she was mine. We have been friends for 58 years. We meet at Holy Name and have been friends ever since. We were always there for each other during the good times and the bad times. I will miss her tremendously. I was glad that I could be there for her at the end and be there for her family. Lisa and I loved to go the wineries and the next time I go to one I will have a glass of wine in her memory. Of course, I prefer dry wine and she preferred sweet wine. ...

I will remember you with much love

LISA's Obituary

LISA EVELYN MADDEN (née Wascovich), born on November 30, 1952, in Cleveland Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Westlake, Ohio. She was 72 years old.

Lisa graduated from Holy Name High School in 1971. She attended Notre Dame College, where she continued to cultivate her love of learning and creativity. Her life was marked by a deep appreciation for the arts and an enduring curiosity that she expressed through her many hobbies.

A gifted artist, Lisa found joy and fulfillment in pottery and painting. Her hands shaped clay into beautiful forms and brought color to canvas with a unique vision that reflected her vibrant spirit. She also had a lifelong fascination with dragons—creatures of myth and imagination that mirrored her own sense of wonder. Lisa was also an avid fan of the television series *The Man from U.N.C.L.E.*, which sparked her interest in storytelling and adventure.

Lisa’s memory lives on through her children: her son Kevin Brazdil and her daughter Corinne Endres (née Brazdil). She is also remembered by her siblings: Gary Wascovich, Kathy Gregrich, and Patrick Wascovich. She was preceded in death by her father Gabe  Wascovich, her mother Mary Wascovich (nee Madden); and her stepmother Kay Wascovich (nee Yost).

May Lisa’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15th, 4-7 PM.
